This study investigates the effect of reversing current deposition on the apparent density of electrolytic copper powder. The objective is to understand how modifications in the shape of the reversing current wave influence the morphology and crystallinity of the deposited copper powder particles. Methodologically, the research involves varying the shape of the reversing current wave while maintaining other deposition conditions to analyze the changes in apparent density. The findings reveal that altering the current waveform significantly affects the particle morphology and structure, leading to a range of apparent densities in the resulting copper powder. Furthermore, it was illustrated that as the morphology shifts towards more dendritic structures, the apparent density decreases. This relationship emphasizes the crucial role of the deposition conditions, including current density and electrolyte composition, in determining the quality and characteristics of the copper powder produced. Ultimately, the study contributes valuable insights into optimizing electrolytic deposition techniques for enhanced material properties.
