Abstract

Language:

This document presents a compilation of selected, peer-reviewed papers delivered at the 2012 International Conference on Vehicle & Mechanical Engineering and Information Technology (VMEIT 2012) held in Shenyang, Liaoning, China. The objective is to organize and disseminate research findings in the fields of vehicle and mechanical engineering, and information technology. Methodologies employed across various studies include spectrum analysis for temperature detection using speckle pattern interferometry, finite element modeling for solving Laplace equations, and seismic protection strategies for steel frames utilizing friction damper devices. Results demonstrate significant advancements in several engineering areas, including the development of micro metal gears using metal injection molding, and a comparative analysis of biogas and DME-fed micro-CHP systems. Further, investigations into the reliability assessment related to wind generation and optimization of working conditions for molten carbonate fuel cells exemplify the interdisciplinary nature of the research presented. This collection serves as a valuable resource for engineers and researchers aiming to apply innovative techniques and improve existing technologies in their respective fields.
