In this paper, the optimum energy conversion condition of a stationary panel is calculated over a period of 180 days at various latitudes. The study considers different angular orientations of the sun’s rays on Earth, and the incident energy flux is resolved into three components to determine the conversion efficiency based on the flux normal for solar panels. The research divides the year into two distinct groups—between the winter solstice and the spring equinox, and between the spring equinox and the summer solstice. Results indicate the existence of two maxima for energy conversion, one corresponding to each period. By orienting the panels at these maxima, significant improvements in energy conversion efficiency can be achieved, with the calculated efficiency ratio reaching 66.667%, which closely aligns with theoretically derived values. The findings emphasize the importance of optimizing panel orientation to enhance energy utilization from solar resources.
