Abstract

Language:

Quality management in the electrical wiring industry is a complex issue that warrants thorough investigation. This paper aims to present a synthesis of existing theories related to quality management, as well as methods that can be applied to foster continuous improvement, beginning with a comprehensive overview of quality management in general and narrowing down to its specific application in the wiring industry. The foundational aspects of quality in the wiring sector involve rigorous laboratory testing and stringent production line verifications. The study particularly emphasizes the issue of electrical resistance, which, as revealed through multiple tests, often exceeds the permissible limits, prompting the necessity for corrective actions to be undertaken. This investigation not only outlines the importance of quality management in enhancing product reliability but also addresses the broader implications for competitiveness in the industry. Thus, it contributes valuable insights for both practitioners and researchers in the field, advocating for systematic approaches to quality management in the dynamic landscape of the wiring industry.
