Ce travail se concentre sur la conception et l'optimisation d'un protocole de recyclage hydrométallurgique à faible consommation d'énergie pour le cuivre provenant des déchets électroniques. L'objectif principal était d'explorer la possibilité de récupérer le cuivre par lixiviation à température ambiante en utilisant l'acide acétique comme lixiviant biosourcé et le peroxyde d'hydrogène comme agent oxydant. La méthodologie impliquait des expériences variées pour étudier l'influence de trois paramètres clés : le temps de lixiviation, la concentration d'acide acétique et la vitesse de rotation. Les résultats ont montré des rendements en cuivre significatifs, avec un rendement optimal de 62,44 % obtenu après 6 heures à une concentration de 90 g/L d'acide acétique et à une vitesse de rotation de 300 tr/min. Bien qu'une étude cinétique préliminaire ait révélé une bonne corrélation mathématique, des essais supplémentaires sont nécessaires pour établir définitivement le mécanisme contrôlant la lixiviation. Ce travail illustre ainsi le potentiel d'une approche hydrométallurgique à température ambiante pour la valorisation du cuivre dans le contexte de Kolwezi.
