The rapid development of quantum technologies is poised to significantly influence multisensory augmented reality (AR) systems. This study aims to identify the essential characteristics of quantum technologies that can enhance AR experiences. Employing a qualitative analysis, we critically examine existing research and case studies to extract key components that embody the intersection of quantum mechanics and augmented reality. Our findings highlight several pivotal attributes such as enhanced processing capabilities, increased data security through quantum encryption, and the potential for creating more immersive and realistic environments. Additionally, the implications of these technologies on user interaction and sensory engagement are explored, shedding light on how they can transform the AR landscape. The contribution of this research underscores the necessity for interdisciplinary collaboration between quantum physicists and AR developers to unlock new dimensions of immersive technology. This study serves as a foundational framework for further exploration into the integration of quantum technologies within multisensory AR systems, paving the way for future innovations in user experience design.
