Abstract

Language:

At present, a lot of metallurgical solid wastes have not been timely and effectively recycled, resulting in serious problems of environmental pollution and waste of resources. This book aims to address this issue by providing a comprehensive overview of comprehensive utilization technologies for metallurgical solid waste, including slag dry granulation, steel slag cement production, slag wool technology, and waste heat recovery from slag. The objective is to enhance the utilization efficiency of resources and increase the added value of products through scientific recycling methods. The methodology encompasses a detailed description of the comprehensive utilization methods of four representative metallurgical solid wastes: blast furnace slag, steel slag, tailings, and metallurgical dust. By discussing these advanced techniques, the book highlights the global attention towards the optimization of metallurgical solid waste recycling practices. Overall, this work serves as a vital resource for researchers and industry professionals interested in enhancing sustainable practices within the metallurgical sector.
