This exploration work is an effort to develop the awareness and importance of industrial waste management and its utilization in a productive manner in the construction industry. In today’s more environmentally-conscious world, a responsible approach to the environment involves increasing the use of by-products of one industry, typically disposed of as waste, as raw materials for another. Traditional materials used in construction, such as clay, sand, stone, and cement, have significant environmental impacts due to their extraction and increasing costs. Therefore, it is essential to find functional substitutes for conventional building materials. This study investigates the potential for utilizing industrial waste from the metal industry, including silica fume, copper slag, foundry waste sand, and ground granulated blast furnace slag, in construction. With substantial quantities of such waste produced annually, this research suggests that using these materials instead of conventional resources could foster eco-friendliness while alleviating pollution problems and advancing economic progress. The findings underline the critical need for the construction sector to transition toward sustainable alternatives that minimize environmental degradation while supporting national development.
