This practical work book was designed for the Electrical Power Distribution and Utilization course (EE-357) for the academic session of 2013 at NED University of Engineering and Technology, aimed at enhancing the understanding of key electrical engineering concepts among students. The objective was to provide a structured format for students to perform hands-on experiments while ensuring safety protocols. The methodology employed included a series of laboratory sessions where students engaged in experiments such as measuring resistance with various instruments, understanding the operation of transformers, and calculating cable sizes based on load requirements. Results from these sessions indicated a significant improvement in practical skills and theoretical understanding, emphasizing the importance of hands-on experience in engineering education. The compiled safety rules further reinforced the necessity of adhering to best practices in electrical engineering environments. This document serves as both an educational resource and a guide for students to navigate their practical work effectively.
