Waste heat is developed as a by-product in power generation, commercial procedures and electric machines, among others. Huge amounts of waste heat are produced by industry. The thermoelectric generator is one of the alternative sources for the generation of power. This device transforms heat directly into electrical energy using a phenomenon known as the 'Seebeck effect'. In this paper, we propose a thermoelectric generator that utilizes waste heat exhausted by industrial processes to generate electric power. The suggested system relies on a thermoelectric material called bismuth telluride (Bi2Te3). This generator incurs no energy costs as it uses waste heat as the input for energy conversion. Our setup employs voltmeters, ammeters, and temperature sensors to measure the relationship between the input heat and the resulting output power. The analysis shows that our system can yield a maximum output, with a calculated efficiency of 4.2%. This research highlights the potential of thermoelectric generators for sustainable energy solutions.
