This manuscript investigates the possibility of using metallic alloy and their performance in terms of efficiency and power generation for generating thermoelectric power from waste heat sources. The first part of the manuscript comparatively discusses mainly different n-type and p-type metallic alloys' conductivity in both electrical and thermal manners as well as the Seebeck coefficient, which is a vital parameter for thermoelectric power generation. Later, observations from simulations and plotted results indicate that the BiTeSe_BiSbTe alloy achieves maximum efficiency and power output compared to other alloys, while the SiGe_SiGe alloy exhibits poor performance in most cases.
