Amidst the challenges of interhospital transport, this study aims to evaluate the comfort of patients during such transfers and to develop effective nursing strategies for vibration reduction. Employing a systematic methodology, fifty volunteers aged 20 to 45 years participated in an evaluation of the comfort levels associated with urban road conditions, focusing on subjective perceptions of vibration experienced during transport. Volunteers assessed various scenarios including constant-speed cruising, acceleration, and traversing bumps using a structured electronic questionnaire immediately after each vehicle's evaluation. The study utilized a scoring system to quantify human comfort, supported by established evaluation criteria. Results indicated that comfort perceptions varied significantly depending on the road conditions and specific vibrational experiences. The findings emphasize the necessity of addressing vibrational impacts in nursing practices for patient transport, highlighting a crucial area for improving patient care standards. Recommendations based on this research indicate a pressing need for developing targeted nursing interventions and transport protocols to mitigate discomfort during interhospital transfers.
