The floating of liquid marbles on a water/air interface was studied in this research. The primary objective was to experimentally establish the critical density necessary for floating marbles containing NaCl solution and to compare it with theoretical calculations. The methodology employed involved systematic experimentation to determine the threshold at which the marbles could remain buoyant. Results indicated a satisfactory agreement between the experimentally determined critical density values and those calculated theoretically, confirming the feasibility of floating marbles. This study contributes to the understanding of non-stick surfaces and the underlying principles governing the behavior of hydrophobic particles in liquid environments.
