Climate change poses significant risks to local ecosystems, affecting biodiversity and ecosystem services. This study aims to assess the impacts of climate change on the resilience and functionality of local ecosystems. We employed a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative data collection from ecological surveys with qualitative interviews of local stakeholders regarding their observations and experiences. Results indicate that rising temperatures and changing precipitation patterns have led to shifts in species distributions, altered timing of biological events, and increased vulnerability to invasive species. Additionally, stakeholders reported concerns over the diminished quality of ecosystem services, such as water purification and pollination. The findings highlight the urgent need for adaptive management strategies to enhance ecosystem resilience against climate change effects. By integrating scientific research with local knowledge, this study provides valuable insights for policymakers and conservationists aiming to mitigate the impacts of climate change on ecosystems and safeguard biodiversity.
