This dissertation presents the development of a comprehensive thermodynamic database specifically designed for copper smelting and converting processes. The objective was to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of computational thermochemistry applications to better model and predict the behavior of copper during metallurgical processing. A systematic approach was employed, which included the integration of various thermodynamic models and experimental data to ensure a robust database that can be utilized across different applications in the field. Key methodologies included the utilization of advanced software tools for data analysis and modeling, as well as collaboration with experts in the domain to validate the findings. Results demonstrated significant improvements in the predictive capabilities regarding the thermodynamic behavior of copper systems under various operational conditions. These advancements are expected to provide valuable insights for industries engaged in copper production and processing, ultimately leading to more efficient and sustainable practices in metallurgy.
