L'exploitation minière entraîne, pendant et après la phase d'extraction, différents types de perturbations du régime hydrogéologique local et de la qualité des eaux. Ces perturbations sont décrites ici et analysées en s'appuyant sur des études et des modélisations réalisées sur plusieurs anciennes mines métalliques. Les résultats présentés permettent d'envisager une gestion environnementale appropriée des anciennes exploitations.
