Abstract

Language:

This Bankable Feasibility Study (BFS) report presents a comprehensive evaluation of the Tri K project in Guinea, conducted by SENET in collaboration with Reminex and multiple external consultants. The primary objective of the BFS is to provide a detailed design concept, estimated costs, and a development schedule for the project. The methodology incorporates findings from various specialized studies, including geology and mineral resources by SRK, mineral reserves and mining studies by BBA, tailings storage facility studies by Epoch, hydrological and flood protection studies by Golder, and environmental and social impact assessments by ABS. Each consultant contributed insights into their respective areas, ensuring a well-rounded analysis. The results indicate a robust framework for the project's advancement, focusing on technical viability and financial feasibility. The collaborative effort has led to a validated BFS that outlines the project's requirements and risks, ultimately supporting informed decision-making for SMM and its stakeholders. This report serves as a critical tool in gauging the project's potential impact and success in the mining sector while establishing a foundation for future development endeavors.
