Abstract

Language:

This document presents the maximum allowable lengths for various types of protection regarding electrical installations. The objective is to provide clear guidelines for acceptable cable lengths based on cross-sectional area, type of circuit protection, and supply voltage. The methodology includes tabulating data for different conductor sizes and protection types, allowing for easy reference. Results indicate specific maximum lengths for different configurations, including Circuit Breakers and Fuses, under a standard supply voltage of 230 Volts, segmented by conductor material (Copper) and specific sizes ranging from 1.5 mm² to 300 mm². It highlights the importance of adhering to these specifications to ensure safety and compliance with electrical standards. This document is crucial for electrical engineers and technicians in planning and executing safe electrical installations.
