The paper investigates the hydraulic transport of thin and dense slurries, emphasizing the importance of pumping abrasive slurries in ecological waste disposal and industrial product manufacturing. The objective of the study is to enhance the understanding and efficiency of hydrohoist systems, specifically designed for the transport of highly viscous slurries. Utilizing mathematical modeling of three-phase flow, the dynamic properties of systems used for pumping thin slurries were assessed. The methodology involved theoretical calculations supported by experimental validation conducted at both test facilities and in actual operational environments. Results demonstrated that for the transportation of thin slurries like bauxite, a three-chamber hydrohoist with float mechanisms was effective, while dense slurries, such as ash and water, were successfully transported using a three-chamber hydrohoist equipped with a sealed separator. The findings indicate significant improvements in the performance and longevity of the hydrohoist systems, highlighting their advantages over traditional pumping methods in terms of operational efficiency and durability.
