Abstract

Language:

The development and application of new joints in steel pipe sheet piles is a critical area of research in civil engineering, particularly in terms of enhancing structural integrity and construction efficiency. This study aims to introduce innovative joint designs that significantly improve load-bearing capacity and environmental resilience of steel pipe sheet piles, which are widely used in coastal and underwater applications. Using a combination of theoretical analysis, computational modeling, and experimental validation, the study examines various joint configurations and their performance under diverse loading conditions. Results indicate that the newly designed joints exhibit superior performance compared to traditional methods, showing increased resistance to bending and shear forces, as well as improved durability under corrosive environments. This research underscores the potential for these innovations to transform practices in the construction industry, offering a pathway towards more sustainable and effective solutions in ground stabilization and waterway management. The findings contribute valuable insights that can guide future engineering projects and foster further advancements in structural design methodologies. The study concludes that the implementation of these new joint designs is not only feasible but also advantageous for modern construction applications.
