Aluminium alloys are widely utilized in various industries due to their strength and lightweight properties. This study investigates the influence of density-mismatch reinforcements and a three-step T6 aging process on Al7075 matrix composites, focusing on improving material properties for aerospace applications. The objective is to explore how different reinforcements affect the mechanical and microstructural attributes of the aluminum composite materials. A systematic methodology including experimental fabrication and characterization techniques was employed to evaluate the properties of the composites subjected to the T6 aging treatment. Results indicate that incorporating density-mismatch reinforcements significantly enhances the mechanical properties of the Al7075 composites compared to conventional methods. Moreover, the T6 aging process plays a pivotal role in optimizing the microstructure and overall performance of the composites, demonstrating potential for further applications in aerospace and automotive industries. These findings contribute to the understanding of sustainable practices in material development, paving the way for improved environmentally friendly composite materials in engineering applications.
