Abstract

Language:

This study examines the geological environmental protection measures applicable to the Luoyang Zhengxingsu coal mine. It conducts an impact assessment of the current geological environment, focusing on the mining area divided into northern, southern, and eastern sections, with subsidence predicted to affect areas extending 50 meters outwards. The total assessed area is 1.397 km². The assessment includes considerations of geological disasters, aquifers, landform landscapes, and land resources to evaluate the mine’s geological environment. Additionally, the paper proposes engineering designs intended for geological environment control. Recognizing the inherent risks associated with mining activities, including soil erosion and various geological disasters, the paper emphasizes the need for coordinated development between mineral extraction and ecological preservation. It advocates for establishing legal frameworks and management systems aimed at mitigating geological disaster risks, thereby enhancing the living conditions for local residents and promoting sustainable socio-economic advancement within the mining area.
