Abstract

Language:

The Research @ DLSU Congress 2012 presented a series of academic findings from various disciplines, including business, economics, education, humanities, and liberal arts. The objective was to showcase significant research contributions from De La Salle University, focusing on diverse topics ranging from the development of the anti-rinderpest vaccine to the analysis of interspatial differences in purchasing power. Methodologically, the congress featured presentations of research studies employing various analytical frameworks, including game theory and documentary analysis, to address pressing issues such as poverty alleviation and literacy in the Philippines. Notable results included insights into the efficacy of educational projects and the socio-economic impacts of remittances on local communities. This event served as a platform for interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration, emphasizing the role of academic inquiry in addressing real-world challenges in the Philippines and beyond.
