This document is a French-language textbook on power electronics intended for electrical engineering students. It systematically presents the main power semiconductor components such as diodes, thyristors (SCR and GTO), triacs, diacs, bipolar power transistors, MOSFETs, and IGBTs, including their operating principles, voltage-current characteristics, selection criteria, and protections. Building on these components, it then analyzes the operation and design of key power conversion structures: DC choppers (series, two- and four-quadrant, and step-up), controlled rectifiers (single-phase and three-phase, various bridge configurations, and transformer arrangements), and single-phase AC voltage controllers (gradateurs) with phase-angle and burst firing control. The book also introduces inverters and discusses their general operating principles and control strategies. Each major topic is complemented with solved and proposed exercises to reinforce understanding and support practical application.
