Results indicated that efficient heap leach design is paramount, requiring a thorough understanding of the spatial distribution of moisture and air flow within heap systems, as well as the careful assessment of ore preparation practices. The insights reflect the importance of technological advancements and research in enhancing metallurgical performance in leaching operations.
