Abstract

Language:

This review explores the potential of solar thermal energy as a sustainable power source. The objective is to analyze the advantages of solar thermal systems compared to conventional energy technologies and other renewable sources. The methodology involves examining various types of solar energy technologies, emphasizing the importance of thermal collectors. Results indicate that solar thermal power stations not only avoid the environmental impacts associated with fossil fuels but also show competitive cost advantages over time. Additionally, solar thermal technology has diverse applications, including refrigeration and desalination, further demonstrating its versatility. The increasing energy demands and the rising costs of fossil fuels underscore the significance of solar thermal systems in addressing climate change and energy security. By harnessing the sun's energy, solar thermal technology presents a viable solution to meet the growing energy needs sustainably.
