This study addresses the design of a rapid desiccated air-tray dryer machine with an ergonomic approach to enhance worker safety and comfort, ultimately improving productivity. The objective is to analyze current machine designs that may contribute to Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) among operators by assessing their compatibility with human anthropometry. Methodologically, the assessment involved evaluating the ergonomic aspects of the existing machine designs and proposing modifications based on anthropometric data collected from various worker postures. Results indicate that the current design requires significant improvements; it was found to necessitate awkward working postures which can lead to discomfort and strain. Specific design enhancements were proposed, including the addition of a ladder for ease of access, modification of cabinet doors for a better reach, and adjusting machine settings to align with the operators' shoulder height, ensuring comfort and reducing the need for stretching or stooping. This research emphasizes the importance of ergonomic principles in machinery design to foster a safer and more efficient working environment.
