Results highlight the efficiency of capturing roaster off-gases to produce sulfuric acid, integrated techniques for zinc recovery from ferrites, and methods for purifying zinc solutions before electrolytic extraction. By employing strong acid leaching and zinc dust cementation, the study also discusses the removal of impurities like copper, cadmium, cobalt, and nickel from zinc solutions, leading to high-purity zinc production. Overall, these developments contribute significantly to improving the economic viability and environmental sustainability of zinc extraction processes.
