Durante o processo de soldagem dos aços inoxidáveis superduplex, são expostos a ciclos térmicos que promovem a precipitação de fases prejudiciais, além do desequilíbrio nas fases ferrita e austenita. Este trabalho analisou as alterações microestruturais que ocorrem em uma chapa de aço ASTM A890/A890M - grau 6A, submetida à soldagem com um passe de solda realizado em superfície plana usando eletrodo revestido Zeron®100, nas condições como soldado e pós-tratamento térmico. A caracterização microestrutural nas regiões do metal base, zona afetada pelo calor e zona de fusão foi realizada por meio de microscopia óptica, microscopia eletrônica de varredura e difração de raios X. O tratamento térmico pós-soldagem na zona de fusão alterou a fração volumétrica de ferrita/austenita de 59/41 para 52/48. As distribuições de Cr, Mo e Ni na zona de fusão foram alteradas após o tratamento térmico pós-soldagem, com a razão de concentração de ferrita/austenita variando de aproximadamente 1.0; 1.1 para 1.1; 1.4 e 0.9. Além disso, a dureza reduziu de 300 para 270 HV0.3 na zona de fusão.
