The study investigated the access and management of electronic information resources in Umaru Musa Yar’adua University Katsina, library. The objective was to assess how demographic variables influenced the management of these resources. A quantitative approach was adopted, utilizing a survey method with a questionnaire as the primary data collection instrument, targeting the entire forty-two library staff members. A high response rate of 92.9% was achieved, allowing for effective data analysis. The findings revealed that demographic factors such as gender, age, education, and professions did not significantly affect the management of electronic information resources at the university library. Consequently, the study recommends enhanced investment in ICT facilities and ongoing staff training and development, aimed at improving the management of these resources to meet user needs, which is ultimately the primary goal of any library and information center.
