Abstract

Language:

The article reports research findings on flotation of apatite from brazilite–apatite–magnetite ore by domestic and foreign manufacture reagents. The objective was to evaluate the efficiency of different flotation agents, particularly Phospholan PE65 and Arcomon SO, in comparison to saponified tall oil fatty acids. Employing a systematic experimental methodology, the flotation process was optimized under controlled conditions to determine selectivity and recovery rates. Results indicated that Phospholan PE65 and Arcomon SO demonstrated higher selectivity, allowing for improved apatite recovery versus traditional methods using tall oil fatty acids. This study contributes essential insights into enhancing apatite flotation processes and the potential for more efficient mineral resource management.
