Abstract

Language:

This study investigates the relationship between academic performance and various socio-economic factors affecting students in urban areas. The objective is to understand how these factors influence educational outcomes and to identify potential interventions. The methodology employed includes a mixed-methods approach, utilizing both quantitative survey data and qualitative interviews with students and educators. Results indicate a significant correlation between socio-economic status and academic success, revealing that students from lower-income families tend to face more barriers to achieving high grades. Additionally, the qualitative data highlights the importance of community support systems in providing the necessary resources for academic achievement. The findings underscore the need for targeted educational policies and support mechanisms to assist underprivileged students in overcoming obstacles to learning and achieving academic success.
