A growing trend to use new copper-based functional materials is observed worldwide. This study aimed to investigate the microstructure in strips of copper alloys with different stacking fault energy values, which have been processed using a severe plastic deformation method through different variants of continuous repetitive corrugation and straightening (CRCS). Deformation was executed by parallel and perpendicular corrugation and straightening of strip samples. The findings reveal that continuous repetitive corrugation and straightening is a promising method for refining the microstructure of metallic strips, suggesting its practical implications in the development of ultrafine grained copper alloys that combine high electrical conductivity with high strength.
