Abstract

Language:

Environmental protection is a fundamental European value requiring collective action and cooperation among nations. This study aims to analyze the environmental awareness of youth in V4 countries and Serbia to foster mutual environmental principles at both institutional and non-institutional levels. The methodology employed includes comparative analysis based on data gathered from the International May Conference on Strategic Management - IMKSM2016 and the Students Symposium, focusing on the theme of environmental awareness. Results indicate a need for enhanced educational efforts to instill ecological values, particularly among the youth, to address environmental challenges effectively. The project received financial backing from the Visegrad Fund. Through these efforts, it is anticipated that candidate countries, such as Serbia, can align their environmental standards with European Union regulations while promoting sustainability. This research emphasizes the importance of collaborative actions in environmental preservation and integrates findings from various partner institutions involved in the conference activities.
