Climate change poses significant threats to various environmental and agricultural systems, impacting soil quality which is crucial for sustainable agricultural production. This study aims to systematically analyze the effects of climate change on soil quality by integrating findings from various research efforts. We conducted a meta-analysis of multiple studies that examined the relationship between climate variables and soil attributes, utilizing statistical techniques to derive comprehensive insights. The results indicate that rising temperatures and altered precipitation patterns negatively affect soil properties such as organic matter content, pH levels, and nutrient availability. Furthermore, the analysis revealed regional variances in soil responses, suggesting that localized factors play a critical role in determining soil quality outcomes under climate change scenarios. This research underscores the need for targeted agricultural strategies that can mitigate the detrimental impacts of climate change on soil quality, thereby ensuring food security and sustainable land management practices in the future.
