This study investigates the impacts of urbanization on local climate patterns, drawing on a comparative analysis of urban and rural areas over a five-year period. The objective is to assess how increasing urban development alters temperature, precipitation patterns, and overall weather conditions. We employed a mixed methodology, utilizing both quantitative data from meteorological stations and qualitative inputs from local inhabitants through interviews. The results indicate a significant increase in average temperatures in urban areas compared to rural counterparts, with notable changes in precipitation frequency and intensity. Additionally, feedback from local residents highlighted increased discomfort due to urban heat islands, which are exacerbated by the diminishing green spaces. This research offers vital insights into the complex interactions between urbanization and climate dynamics, thereby informing future urban planning and policy initiatives aimed at mitigating climate impacts.
