Abstract

Language:

This study aims to investigate the thermal efficiency of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cooking burners using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and experimental methods. The objective is to understand how different LPG released pressures affect both the boiling efficiency and predicted thermal efficiency of various burner designs. Methodologically, the research includes experimental setups and numerical simulations to validate the findings. Results indicate a significant correlation between the LPG pressure and the thermal efficiency of the burners, with a maximum error of only ±2.41% between the predicted thermal efficiency and experimental values. The study reveals important insights into design improvements for energy-saving burners, highlighting both the numerical predictions and experimental validations. This research contributes to the development of more efficient cooking appliances, enhancing energy conservation in household cooking applications.
