Abstract

Language:

Over the past thirty years, we have gained more experience in the use of Cyanex 272 extractant in the production of high purity cobalt solution. Intensive pilot plant testing has contributed significantly to increasing our experience in using Cyanex 272 as a Cobalt extractant. Optimizing parameters through pilot plant tests is expensive. This is how our company developed a simulation model of the extractant Cyanex 272. This model is based on the thermodynamic equilibrium of ions in solution. Instead of using the extractant D2EHPA to remove calcium from the solution before using the extractant Cyan.
