This paper presents a steady state electrothermic simulation analysis of a carbothermic reduction reactor aimed at aluminium production. The objective is to evaluate the efficacy of the reactor design under varying operational parameters and to identify optimal conditions for aluminium extraction. The methodology involves the use of advanced simulation techniques to model the reactor's thermal and chemical dynamics, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of the reduction process. Results indicate that by adjusting parameters such as temperature and reactant flow rates, significant improvements in production efficiency can be achieved. The analysis reveals the critical interplay between thermal management and reaction kinetics, providing valuable insights for enhancing reactor performance. The findings contribute to the development of more sustainable and economically viable aluminium production methods, addressing both energy efficiency and material yield concerns.
