Vaccine confidence is essential for achieving high vaccine uptake and successful public health outcomes, yet it is increasingly undermined by vaccine hesitancy driven by socioeconomic, cultural, and psychological factors. This paper proposes a multidimensional framework that integrates these determinants to better explain how individuals and communities make vaccination decisions. It examines how income, education, employment, and healthcare access shape perceptions of vaccines and trust in health systems, while also exploring the role of cultural beliefs, values, and norms regarding medicine, government, and authority. Psychological mechanisms such as risk perception, cognitive biases, emotional responses, and susceptibility to misinformation are analyzed as key drivers of hesitancy. By combining these dimensions, the framework offers a comprehensive view of vaccine decision-making and highlights the need for context-specific interventions. The study concludes with policy recommendations and tailored strategies designed to enhance vaccine confidence and improve vaccine uptake across diverse demographic and cultural groups, and it calls for future research to adopt this multidimensional perspective.
