Electrospinning of nanofibers with diameters that fall into the nanometer range has attracted growing attention in recent years due to the ability to produce scaffolds with nanoscale properties. Scaffolds from nanofibers for tissue engineering represent a large field. The goal of this review is to provide an objective and comprehensive overview of current research on the electrospinning technique, highlighting the various polymers employed in the production of tissue engineering scaffolds. This study aims to describe the theory behind different electrospinning processes while discussing the applications and impacts of electrospinning within the field of tissue engineering.
