This study investigates the stability of non-Newtonian fluid films flowing down an inclined plane, utilizing both theoretical and experimental approaches. The primary objective is to understand the dynamics of these films under varying conditions and their stability criteria. The methodology includes developing a theoretical framework to describe the flow behavior of non-Newtonian fluids, complemented by experimental trials to validate the theoretical predictions. The experiments were conducted using a setup that allowed for precise control of flow parameters such as angle, fluid viscosity, and film thickness. Results indicate that the stability of the fluid flow is significantly influenced by the rheological properties of the fluid and the inclination angle of the plane. The findings demonstrate that alterations in viscosity lead to critical changes in flow stability, highlighting the intricate relationship between fluid properties and flow behavior.
