This paper discusses the impact of wellness and sustainability mega-trends on consumer behavior and the manufacturing sector. The objective is to highlight the critical importance of sustainable practices in industrial applications, particularly through the lens of green chemistry. The methodology includes a review of historical consumption patterns and environmental impacts, emphasizing the significant changes that have arisen from industrial activities over the last century.
