An automatic fire suppression system is a device designed to detect, alert and extinguish or control a fire without human intervention. It ensures continuous protection of people, buildings, documents and equipment. The objective of this study is to implement such a system within the context of an educational institution in Kolwezi. Through a methodological approach, the research analyzes the unique requirements of the establishment and evaluates the feasibility of different fire protection technologies, including automatic detection and sprinkler systems. Results indicate that the proposed automatic fire suppression system can significantly enhance safety conditions and provide a reliable means of fire control, thus serving as an important preventive measure. This implementation not only aims at protecting physical assets but also at ensuring the safety of all individuals present within the establishment. Overall, the findings highlight the critical need for such systems in educational settings, promoting both awareness and adherence to safety standards.
