This document addresses the fundamental principles of motion and torque transmission in mechanical engineering, specifically focusing on systems such as gears, pulleys, and belts. The objective is to provide a comprehensive overview of different transmission methods, including frictional transmission and obstacle-based transmission. The methodology involves the exploration of equations governing the transmission of motion and torque, highlighting key variables such as normal force and angle of friction. Through illustrative examples and equations, the document elucidates the concepts of 'Menant' and 'Mené' alongside the factors affecting torque transmission. Results indicate that understanding these principles is crucial for the design and optimization of mechanical systems, ensuring efficiency and reliability in their operation. This foundational knowledge serves as a critical resource for students and professionals in the field of mechanical engineering.
