The study investigates the electrochemical properties of mixed oxide electrodes based on ruthenium and copper, considering variations in their composition and manufacturing methods. The objective of the research is to understand how different formulations and fabrication techniques affect the performance of these electrodes in various applications, including batteries and photocatalysis. Employing a combination of electrochemical testing methodologies, we analyzed the conductivity, stability, and overall electroactivity of the fabricated electrodes. The results indicate that electrodes with optimized ratios of ruthenium and copper exhibit superior electrochemical performance, characterized by enhanced stability and conductivity under harsh operating conditions. This research highlights the potential of tailored ruthenium-copper mixtures for improving the selectivity and efficiency of electrochemical processes, while also addressing cost and environmental considerations. Through systematic exploration of the compositional and procedural parameters, we provide insights that could enable advancements in the design and application of mixed metal oxide electrodes.
