The XVI Balkan Mineral Processing Congress was held in Belgrade, Serbia, from June 17 to 19, 2015, organized by the Mining Institute Belgrade in collaboration with the Academy of Engineering Science of Serbia and the University of Belgrade. The objective of the congress was to bring together experts, researchers, and practitioners in the field of mineral processing to share knowledge, present research findings, and discuss advancements in mining engineering. The methodology involved the submission of research papers, which underwent a rigorous peer review process for inclusion in the proceedings. The congress featured a diverse range of topics, including mineral preparation, innovative processing technologies, and sustainable practices in mining. Results included insightful discussions, the presentation of cutting-edge research, and networking opportunities for attendees. The proceedings, published in volume II, encompass a comprehensive collection of papers that reflect current trends and challenges in the field. This event was financially supported by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia and aimed at fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange among professionals in the mining industry.
