Abstract

Language:

The growing global energy demand is alarming, primarily fueled by the consumption of fossil fuels, whose reserves are rapidly depleting and becoming increasingly costly. This situation has led to unacceptable levels of greenhouse gas emissions, necessitating a coherent global energy strategy to address energy harvesting, storage, conversion, and distribution. This paper investigates the role of hybrid nanomaterial systems, particularly carbon nanotube nanostructured hybrids, in advancing direct renewable energy applications. It presents innovative approaches and methodologies for designing and developing these hybrid materials, which integrate structural and light-absorbing electronic polymers, inorganic semiconductors, and various nanoparticles for effective energy harvesting and storage. The research highlights the potential of these materials to meet renewable energy challenges and reduce environmental impacts. The findings indicate that hybrid nanomaterials are crucial for creating sustainable energy solutions, essential in the context of diminishing fossil fuel supplies and increasing environmental concerns.
