The integration of innovative technologies, such as blockchain and artificial intelligence, has further expanded the scope of digital banking offerings, fostering financial empowerment. However, amidst the progress, challenges persist. Regulatory frameworks are evolving to accommodate the rapid pace of digital banking, ensuring consumer protection, data security, and the prevention of financial crimes. Infrastructure limitations, particularly in rural areas, pose obstacles to universal access. Additionally, concerns related to cybersecurity, privacy, and the digital divide demand strategic solutions to bridge the gaps and mitigate risks.
