Abstract

Language:

This thesis deals with the study of the static stability of the 15 kV HTA distribution network at the OUAGA 2 source substation. This is the second phase of the SONABEL project to model the entire 15 kV distribution network of the city of Ouagadougou through its seven source substations. To this end, it was first necessary to perform a data collection. This collection aims to build the set of information needed to carry out the modeling. Also, a forecast of the load level of OUAGA 2 was carried out for the period 2017 - 2030 to study the behavior of the network facing this evolution of the load. Thus, the power flow calculations showed that the network in the state could only hold from 2017 to 2020 because after 2020 the calculations of power flows no longer converge. Also, several outcomes are cases of instability such as outcomes 18, 13,14,15,16 and 20. The lines of these outcomes are overloaded and make much more case of voltage drop at their nodes. To eradicate these problems, a network restructuring plan should be put in place to alleviate these overloaded outcomes by strengthening them and creating new outcomes. This leads to the creation of 6 new incomes named 18 BIS, 14 BIS, 15 BIS, 16 BIS, 13 BIS, and 20 BIS, which will allow the transit of electricity up to 2030.
